A drone light show is an exciting and visually captivating display that utilizes a multitude of drones, each equipped with bright, colorful LED lights, to create stunning patterns and mesmerizing animations in the night sky. This innovative form of entertainment serves as a unique and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fireworks, providing a beautiful experience while minimizing the impact on the environment.
-
Drone shows function by programming a fleet of drones to follow specific flight paths and exhibit various colors and patterns with their onboard LED lights. The drones are controlled by a central computer system that synchronizes their movements, ensuring they maintain a safe distance from one another while crafting an awe-inspiring visual performance.
-
Our drones can fly for up to 13 minutes depending on design and complexity of the show.

We are one of the few companies in the USA that has permission to fly drone swarms. We have Part 107 pilots, trained ground crew and exceptional drone hardware and software that ensures the show is safe and spectacular. We operate under a Part 107.35 waiver issued by the FAA and work with local and governmental authorities before and during every show to ensure the safety and legality of every show.

We cannot fly in heavy rain. A light rain may delay us, but we do have certain restrictions related to visibility for safety purposes.
We can fly in moderate to high winds. Our typical thresholds are over 20mph sustained and/or gusting over 30mph. Winds are very difficult to predict, and this is a judgement call made by the pilot on site at the time of flight.
We must follow all FAA guidelines regarding weather for UAV flight, including visibility range and cloud height.
Regardless of the weather, we will always work with event management to choose the best course of action. If any issues arise, we will de-conflict as early as possible.

Drone shows can be flown in various picturesque locations, including appealing outdoor venues such as parks, stadiums, and beautiful waterfronts, as well as other suitable indoor spaces that provide adequate facilities. The key is to ensure that there is sufficient space and comprehensive safety measures are firmly established and in place. Additionally, it is essential to obtain the necessary permits and approvals from the relevant authorities before organizing such captivating events.

The drones need to be at least five feet apart before takeoff. So, for 100 drones, you would need at least 2500 square feet.
We also need to have ample space between the drones and the audience. Drones are not allowed to fly over people, so we recommend one foot of horizontal separation for every foot of altitude. So, if the drones fly to 400 feet, then the audience needs to be a minimum of 400 feet away from the takeoff space.
-
We recommend at least 100 drones to make a truly memorable experience. Some designs and ideas will take hundreds of drones, while others may only take several dozen.
